Trading Guide
Trading in Kitten Run: Anime lets you swap your own cat-girl cards for one shown by a trader, and it is the fastest way to reach a card you have not found in runs yet. It is also the riskiest feature in the game, because some trades turn out to be scams where you lose your card and get nothing back.
How a Trade Works
When you open a trade, a trading character presents a random cat-girl card. You then pick cards from your own collection to offer in exchange.
On the right side of the screen, a trade meter shows how the deal is going. It moves between Bad, Okay and Good depending on what you put on the table.
If the other side agrees and the meter shows Okay or Good, the trade goes through. A Bad reading means your offer is not enough, so you need to add or swap cards to push it higher.
Reading the Trade Meter
- Bad: the offer is too weak and will not be accepted.
- Okay: the trade can succeed at a fair balance.
- Good: a comfortable deal for the trader.
The meter helps you avoid overpaying. Pushing a deal from Okay all the way to Good often means giving away more than needed.
Many players aim to land right on Okay. Adding cards one at a time and watching the meter is the safest way to find that point without throwing in extras.
Duplicates and Normal cards are the best material for balancing a trade. They raise the meter while keeping your rarer favorites safe in the collection, and they are easy to replace through ordinary runs.
The Scam Risk
Even after the meter looks fine and the trade appears to go through, there is a chance the deal is a scam. In that case you never receive the new card and you lose the cards you offered.
This twist makes trading feel tense. Every offer is a small gamble, and the more valuable the cards you put in, the more a scam hurts.
There is a safety net. If you get scammed, you can press the Scam button to reverse the trade by watching an advertisement, which returns things to how they were.
When Trading Is Worth It
After clearing a level, the game sometimes gives you the option to trade for a better card instead of taking a random one. That moment is often the best time to try, since you are already in a reward screen.
Trading makes the most sense when the offered card is clearly better than what you would give up. A Super Rare or Epic card for a handful of duplicates is a deal worth taking a risk on.
It makes less sense when you would have to offer cards you love. Losing a favorite to a scam and then needing an ad to undo it is a stressful way to play.
Timing your trades around your play sessions also helps. Trading at the end of a session, when you can still watch an ad if something goes wrong, is safer than trading in a hurry right before closing the game.
Safe Trading Habits
- Offer duplicates and Normal cards before anything rarer.
- Stop adding cards as soon as the meter reaches Okay.
- Check what you received right after every trade.
- Use the Scam button immediately if the card did not arrive.
- Avoid trading when you cannot watch an ad to undo a scam.
Checking right after each trade is the habit that saves the most cards. The Scam button is only useful if you notice the problem, so make a quick look part of every deal.
Some players also report cards that show up in the trade menu but not in their collection screen. If something looks missing, compare both menus before assuming it was lost.
Keep a small pool of spare cards just for trading. Treat them as currency rather than collection pieces, and trades will never cost you a favorite.
Trading and the Bigger Picture
Trading is one of two main ways to grow your collection without spending, alongside clearing more levels. Combining both is the quickest route to higher rarities.
Levels give steady progress with caps on rarity, while trading can jump past those caps at a risk. Using levels to build spare cards and trades to convert them into rare ones is a balanced approach.

Kitten Run: Anime makes every trade a mix of strategy and nerve. Read the meter, offer spare cards first and keep the Scam button in mind, and trading will become a reliable way to add rare cat-girl cards to your collection. If collecting is your favorite part, the anime shelf has more character-focused picks.
