Controls
Kitten Run: Anime is controlled almost entirely by steering: the cat runs forward by itself, and you move it left or right on the screen to dodge obstacles and grab cards. There is no jump or attack button, so every bit of skill comes from where and when you move.
- Running happens automatically along the vertical map.
- Move left to slide the cat toward the left side of the path.
- Move right to slide the cat toward the right side of the path.
- Menu taps handle cards, upgrades, trades and rewards.
Steering Without Overcorrecting
The most common mistake is moving too far. A big swing to dodge one obstacle can push the cat straight into the next, so short, controlled movements work best.
Keeping the cat near the middle of the path gives you the most options. From the center you can react to obstacles on either side without crossing the whole screen.
Moving obstacles need timing rather than speed. Wait until the gap opens, then slide through in one smooth move.
Seeing Obstacles Earlier
Some players find the camera rather close to the action. Holding the phone a little further away or playing on a tablet gives a wider view and more time to react.
Turning down distractions helps too. Notifications popping up mid-run are a classic way to lose a good attempt.
Obstacle speed increases on higher levels, so habits that feel optional early on become essential later. Practicing calm steering on easy stages pays off.
Playing on a Computer
The game is made for phones and tablets and does not run in a web browser. Some players use an Android emulator on a PC to get a bigger screen, mapping left and right movement to keyboard keys of their choice.
A larger screen makes obstacles easier to read, which is the main reason people try this. The game itself is unchanged, so all the same tips apply.

Controlling Kitten Run: Anime takes seconds to learn, but steady steering is what separates short runs from high scores and better card rewards.
